The operating loop

New data in. Better decisions out.

Every successful sync or projection import refreshes the decision picture. Custom boards and values can make it more personal, but the loop starts working from your connected league data.

01

Connect your leagues

Bring every team into one live picture.

Link Yahoo or pair the ESPN companion to pull league settings, rosters, standings, matchups, and the team that is actually yours.
02

Automatic decision sweep

Let Laces Out scan what changed.

Fresh league and projection data reruns lineup, waiver, trade, opponent, and portfolio analysis without asking you to rebuild the context.
03

Add your edge

Tune the engine to the way you play.

Optional rankings, ADP, projections, auction values, and cheat sheets sharpen the baseline. They enhance the automation; they do not power it.

League sync + automation

Your league data does the traveling. Your credentials don’t.

Yahoo and ESPN take different paths in, then land in the same source-aware league model. Once fresh data arrives, Laces Out handles the comparison work and rebuilds the calls that matter to each manager.

Bring your own LLM

Add a research voice. Keep the engine in charge.

The current beta’s recommendations come from deterministic projection and league analysis. A planned AI layer will explain those calls, research the surrounding news, and answer league-specific questions without becoming the source of truth.

Bring a model key

Planned support for separately billed OpenAI or Anthropic API keys, encrypted and controlled per user.

Use your assistant

A planned OAuth-protected connector can make league context available from supported ChatGPT or Claude clients.

Explain with receipts

AI can research and explain. Deterministic models still rank the moves, and every answer must show its sources.

Not available in the current private beta. Consumer ChatGPT and Claude subscriptions are not treated as API credentials, and no AI layer will be allowed to execute Yahoo or ESPN changes.

Built for friends, not ad inventory

Your leagues are the product context. They are not the product.

Laces Out is a private, non-commercial project. No behavioral advertising, no data brokerage, and no pretending uncertain provider data is fresher than it is.

Read-only by default

Laces Out recommends. You remain in control of every provider-side move.

Private connections

Yahoo authorization stays encrypted server-side. ESPN passwords and cookies stay with ESPN.

Source-aware data

Sync times, projection dates, and sample states stay visible instead of being blended together.

Provider connections are read-only today. Laces Out recommends the move and keeps the evidence visible; you decide whether to make the change in Yahoo or ESPN.
